PLAN THE RESEARCH. VERIFY THE OFFICIALS.

Read the official Non-Immigrant ED category information.

Ask the school or institution what current documents it can provide.

Confirm the current visa checklist with the mission responsible for your legal residence.

Keep passport and legal-residence evidence ready when officially requested.

Request current enrollment, acceptance, or course records from the institution.

Ask whether any records require a translation, certification, or current date.

Check whether your official route begins through the e-Visa portal.

Review the handling mission’s upload, appointment, and original-document instructions.

Record questions for the official channel rather than assuming a school can answer immigration questions.

Check the official channel for current visa-fee information.

Confirm course charges and any institution document fees directly with the school.

Budget for translations, travel, and living costs separately.

Ask the institution when its current supporting records will be available.

Confirm the responsible mission’s current timing guidance.

Write down questions about attendance, extensions, or later steps for the relevant authority.

Re-open the official education source before submitting documents.

Compare your documents to the current official instructions for your mission.

Do not rely on an old school handout as the final immigration checklist.
